March 15, 2012 – Vancouver, British Columbia – Clean Seed Capital Group (“Clean Seed” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: CSX) is pleased to announce the Company’s management team has elected to rename and rebrand its wholly owned subsidiary, Vesco Agricultural Technologies, Inc. , to Clean Seed Agricultural Technologies Inc., launching in Spring 2012.
The Company acquired Vesco Agricultural Technologies in conjunction with its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in September 2011 and has since focused on building production models of its Smallholder / Developing Nations machine and Large Scale Electronically Controlled Commercial No-Till Farming equipment.
The Smallholder / Developing Nations machine has been completed and customized with the addition of hydraulics, allowing farmers in more developed countries the ability to pull/operate the machine behind a small tractor. For Developing Nations, such as Africa, we have created a “Nature Drive” conversion kit, offering the ability to pull/operate the machine by oxen. Furthermore, this unit will be delivered to the University of British Columbia’s Centre for Sustainable Food Systems to assess and document soil disturbance and overall usage of its technology under working field conditions.
In addition, the Company would like to invite all shareholders, potential investors and strategic partners to visit our new website at www.cleanseedtechnologies.com. The website has been designed to unite all aspects of Clean Seed’s branding, provide detailed information on our No-Till seeding Technology, it’s manufacturing process, the Electronic Metering System and clearly defines the benefits of No-Till farming in combating soil erosion and climate change.
